Foroba Yelen is a forefront solution to overcome darkness in rural Mali in the concept of a collective light, a portable lamppost shared as tool for work, education and cults, as opposed to conventional public space lighting. Made from dumped bicycles in collaboration with local craftsmen, the lamp can be replicated anywhere in Mali.
